Weekend.............

full of hero dirt and big RESULTS!!!

Big shout out to Durangoean Howard Grotts (Devo Sweet Elite) for winning the Windham World Cup junior XC this weekend, that's fricken huge!  Also, congrats to Alicia Rose Pastore for her 2nd place at the world cup.  Man, that's a lot of talent coming out of D-Town.

Speaking of talent, I want to give some props to D-Plus friend/mentor/Idol/model/Civil War enthusiast and all round quality guy, B-man Shaf's for his WIN in the Telluride XC CAT 1 men19-29, no-less than the Colorado State Champ, yesss Shaf's, yessss!  Do I smell an upgrade???  I smell somthin'!!

Sounds like all the Durango Devo racer's cleaned up this past weekend in T-ride!  Nice Job.

D-Plus Team member Josh Marceau raced one of the Winter Park Race Series XC this weekend; despite flatting (and destroying a rear wheel), he finished strong, "for the overall points".

Tour of France: Seems like a bloody tour, eh?? If I was Hoogerland (33 stiches after a French TV car ran into the back of the break and sent him somersaulting into a barbed wire fence) I would be pissed, not only because of the physical pain but the fact that the remaining three guys in the break held on to finish 1, 2, 3 on the day!

Kinda having rest day withdrawal, oh well.......the mountains start tomorrow, can't wait!

Not only is Raider Ridge crankin' out the best wraps and smoothies in D-Town, it's also one of my favorite rides; we busted it out Friday night, just before the torrential downpour:

Thanks to Mary Monroe and Trails 2000 for revamping the Skyline trail last year, as this makes riding the Ridge from North to South, much more enjoyable!!  Hmmmm......... I am thinking Raider Ridge Super D???
