It's been a long time coming (our team should have done this years ago) but we wanted to create a blog to document our travels and tribulations of mountain bike racing for our sponsor's, friends, family and anyone else whom is stuck in front of a computer for hours on end, day after day. We hope this glimpse into our small town lives will not only be interesting but will help you to motivate in staying active, healthy and most of all balanced.
I am hopeful to get other team members to check in with this site weekly and will be sure to add lots of pictures, as I don't want to bore you with my mediocre 4th grade writing skills and bad grammar.
Here we go in bringing everyone up to speed for the team in 2011 (some races I don't have pics for, but from here on out, we promise, we will):
Greg Lewis (aka Dogger, Dog Train) and Nick Gould (aka Da Gould) starting it off right (in February no less) at the "Tru Grit":
Then they went to Prescott AZ for the Whiskey 50:
Some of us were still doing this:
Iron Horse Mountain Bike Race was next, what a great event; here is Gould out front of Steamworks, this is the window we rode thru during the race:
IHBC overlooking town:
Next was Crested Butte, sweet 40 mile big loop. Here we are the day after enjoying some of the local CB spoils with some spoiled locals:
Trek EX 9.8
.........And that brings us up to last weekend-I went up to Breck for the Firecracker 50 and some of the boys stayed local for the Durango Dirty Century. Here is Gould and Devo Coach Shaf's taking a mid day break on the CO trail above Hotel Draw-good on ya boyz:
Notice Gould sporting the new kits-Better late than never!!
This was a quick and dirty update, please hang in there with us as we will continue to improve and update the blog and keep you abreast of upcoming events/races. As well, we will share any cool links we think are pertinent!
Looks great Wolf!
